Welcome to CTF Events. By accessing or using the app or site, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use CTF Events.

1. Use of the app

  • CTF Events helps you discover and track public Capture The Flag competitions.
  • You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it using a method other than the interface and instructions we provide.
  • You are responsible for your device, network connection, and compliance with applicable laws.

2. Accounts

CTF Events does not require or provide user accounts. Your bookmarks, reminders, and settings are stored on your device.

3. Purchases and refunds

  • Premium is a one‑time purchase that removes ads. Pricing may vary by store or region.
  • Purchases are processed by the relevant app store. Any refunds are governed by that store’s policies.
  • Premium status is linked to your store account. Restore options may be available via the store.

4. Ads and third‑party services

  • In the free version, the app may display ads via a mobile ad SDK (e.g., Google AdMob). Upgrading to premium removes ads.
  • Event data may be fetched from third‑party sources such as the CTFtime API. We are not affiliated with CTFtime.
  • Third‑party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

5. Content and accuracy

  • Event details can change. Always confirm dates, rules, and registration on official pages before participating.
  • We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or completeness of data and features.

6. Prohibited uses

  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape at abusive volumes, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security.
  • Do not use the app to violate laws or infringe rights.

7. Disclaimers

CTF Events is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CTF Events and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

9. Changes to the app

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable local laws where the app is offered, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
