Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Invox, listed on the App Store as Invoice Maker: PDF by Invox, helps you create, manage, and export invoices. This Privacy Policy explains what information Invox and its service providers process, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.

The business and invoice information you enter is stored on your device by default. If you create an account and use cloud sync, the information described below is sent to our servers so it can be synchronized across your devices. Advertising and App Store services may process certain technical or purchase information even if you do not create an account.

2. Information We Process

  • Business and invoice information: Business name, email address, phone number, physical address, bank name, IBAN, SWIFT/BIC, client contact details, invoice details, line items, notes, amounts, and payment status that you choose to enter.
  • Account information: If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive an account identifier and may receive your name, email address, or profile photo, depending on the provider and the information you choose to share.
  • Cloud sync information: If you use cloud sync, your business profile, clients, saved items, invoices, and related settings are sent to our servers. A signature you draw in Invox remains on your device and is excluded from cloud sync.
  • Purchase information: We receive product, transaction, and subscription status information needed to verify purchases, restore access, and manage Invox Pro. Apple processes the payment itself; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
  • Advertising and technical information: The free version uses Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process device identifiers, including the advertising identifier when you permit tracking, IP-address-derived approximate location, ads shown, ad views or interactions, and diagnostic or performance information.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide invoice creation, PDF export, local storage, account access, and optional cloud synchronization.
  • Verify purchases, restore subscriptions, and provide Invox Pro features.
  • Display ads in the free version, measure ad performance, limit repeated ads, detect fraud or abuse, and understand app and ad interactions.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve Invox.
  • Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your invoice, client, business, bank, or signature content to personalize advertising.

4. Advertising and Tracking Choices

On iOS, Invox asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing the advertising identifier or allowing tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you decline, Invox can still show ads, but the advertising identifier is not made available for tracking.

You can review or change this permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your device. Google's use of information from apps that use its services is described in Google's Privacy & Terms.

5. When Information Is Shared

We share information only as needed to provide the app:

  • Google AdMob: Advertising delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.
  • Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple: Account authentication.
  • Apple App Store and StoreKit: Purchase processing, subscription management, and purchase verification.
  • Our cloud service providers: Secure hosting and synchronization when you choose to use an account and cloud sync.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. You can review Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Storage, Retention, and Security

Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Cloud-synced information is retained while your account is active and is deleted from our active systems when you delete your account, subject to limited retention where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • Use Invox without creating an account and keep your business data on your device.
  • Edit or delete invoices, clients, items, and business information in the app.
  • Clear locally stored data from Settings.
  • Delete your account and cloud-synced data from Settings.
  • Control tracking permission through iOS Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us to make a request.

8. Children's Privacy

Invox is a business invoicing tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top of this document when changes are made.
